needed. DH has bought 2 different ones that he had to return - neither fit. Apparently the problem is that the truck is a 3/4 and not 1/2 ton. Although both were slated for 3/4 ton in the ads, the rod was either 1" too short or too long. Any ideas? He's not one for searching and I really don't know where to start. Thanks.

Have you tried your local NAPA store? They usually have a lot of parts available. Here is a link to brake boosters for 1972 Chev 3/4 ton boosters.
