Smile Radios to ID

Here are just a few radios I am looking for ID on-need to know year and make of vehicles they were installed in. I have lots of these radios I am trying to ID so if anyone wants a batch of pics to id let me know. There are just too many to post here so I will put them on Flickr for people to check out. Thanks everyone!

Re: Radios to ID

The best way to get a "hit" would be to post the model numbers. For instance, my 1962 Studebaker GT Hawk came with an AC Delco AC3305. I suspect people will know model numbers better than pictures.

Re: Radios to ID

Quite often the lid must come off, and you should find a label with model #

Talking Re: Radios to ID

Pics #1, 2, & 5 are the same radio, Mopar 829, s/n: MS 199702, made in CAN there is another # stamped on the bottom-77267. What vehicles did it go to? Pics #4 & 8 are the same radio-American Motors face# is 13D4028C01, radio Mod #? 2HT 224 001276 and what almost looks like F157 231 stamped on the side. I probably have matching knobs somewhere but would need to know what they look like. I probably have at least 50 of these radios but some of them I have not been able to find the vehicle applications for. I have a huge box of what look like Western Auto radios too, in their boxes and also many radios faceplates, blank out plates, etc.

I will be posting them here and also have set up a Flickr account at the following link:Flickr: Docs Gal's Photostream
This link has several sets of pictures of parts I am working on. Not nearly close to a comprehensive choice but I am working on it. Be patient and join my group if you like id'ing pics of car parts. Flickr: Doc Dan's Antique Auto Parts

Thanks for all your help!!!

Smile Re: Radios to ID

Any more ideas? I have posted many pics of parts I have available to ID and a group forum for posting pics for others to ID.
The link to the photos is: Flickr: Docs Gal's Photostream
I am hoping that this way people can go and help ID parts for each other. I will be posting lots of pics here and even MORE radios. My gosh, I never realized how many radios my Dad had!!! Thanks!
