All those hood louvers. Could that be a Doble?

May be a McFarlan from around 1923.

Re: Old Family Photos #4 of 7

Hi folks,

I would love it to be a Doble, lot going for it. However do I spy a 'widows peak' to the top of the rad a la Ford A? Also wheels/hubs seem different .

Regards

I think the bumpers are incorrect for Linclon.

Dave, agreed on the solid wheel option. I tend to not trust artist drawings too much, but both pix depict a different front bumper.

Re: Old Family Photos #4 of 7

The hood louvers in the pix come almost to the bottom of the belt line. In the pix I have of mid 20's Lincoln the louvers are lower. It is looking more and more like a 23 Doble.

I think it is too small to be a Doble and I think that the radiator shell is wrong for a Doble.
