HURD Parking Brake Release Handle.... What CAR and YEAR approx

HURD marked inside of handle near bottom
I think I was told that a similar one was from a 1935 era Chevrolet and that it was a BRAKE RELEASE HANDLE?
The similar one mentioned had a bakelite *star shaped cookie* handle.

There is a *skid plate* and wear marks right near it on handle right in HURD logo

I've seen a number of them on '35s and '36s Chrysler products. An attractive accesory item that was short lived. There wasn't any application for them when emergency brakes became operated by underdash mounted pull-out handles.
