    Howdy, I've got an NOS horn contact that I know is Buick but I need help with the year and model. The part # is 766648. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Keith.

    The 1964 parts book says "1961-62 All STD. STRG. WHLS....CONNECTOR, HORN-BLOWING STAKED IN STRNG. WHL. HUB". Apparently the deluxe wheel uses a different mounting type.

    There's no model number (Electra, Special, etc.) mentioned until 1964 for "connector"s in the parts book. Also no "connector"s are listed before 1961 for any car. Either full size cars didn't use a "connector" until 1964 (and this is a Skylark/Special part), or they used the same part for all series (with identical differences between deluxe and standard wheels). The former is more likely. Hopefully someone can chime in with a confirmation.
