    Brake Drum I.D., Please!

I have a pair of cast iron rear brake drums that were sold to me (sight unseen) as being Buick from the mid-1960's....which they certainly don't seem to be! I'd appreciate any ideas as to the application. The wheel stud circle is 4-1/2", which could point to small Ford, Chrysler, and AMC. However, what the heck do I know!?

These drums have a 3-1/8" center hole. The brake shoe contact area measures 2-7/16" x 11". The outer drum diameter is 13-1/8". There are 64 fins on each drum. Thanks in advance for any help. John in Wisconsin

Does not look like Chrysler to me, but I suppose it could be.

I hear what you are saying about "not Chrysler", keiser31. I don't recall sixties MOPARs using a finned drum. But, that 4-1/2" bolt circle on these drums rules out all GM from the 1960s, I believe. It will be interesting to get an I.D.! John

Any ideas on the application for these drums, Gang? Any thoughts (well, almost any!) would be appreciated. Thanks. John
