This radio head is styled for the 1942 Pontiac only, that's confirmed by my 1949 Motorola catalog . To complete the setup, it needs the radio tuner unit, a Motorola 609 or 709. (unit mounts on the firewall)
The heads were styled for the different years & models but tuners were universal.
