#1 | | Guest | Wyoming/Colorado DFers Meet This afternoon, Wed. Sept. 10th, a small group of DFers got together at the world famous Bruce's Bar, home of Rocky Mountain Oysters, for a lunch meeting.
In attendance were Amphicar, Randall McGrew and HVS. A grand time was had by all and another meeting is planned for Nov. when dbinger can be there too. Any other DFers in the front range area are welcome to attend. Watch this space for time and date.

| Re: Wyoming/Colorado DFers Meet I second that, Howard. I had a marvelous time, not just because of the car talk but because I met two really GREAT people. I am so happy to have made their acquaintence. I would invite anyone in the area to attend. You will not be sorry.

Sorry Sal no KK's were present! Only Rocky Mountain Oysters and cheeseburgers were injured in the making of this meeting! However the topics of conversation went from politics, religion, KK doughnuts, archeology, race, and of course, automobiles!
It was a nice way to spend an afternoon, placing faces to the names. Good people to be sure! I was the only one to drive my clas... err I mean "old" car. Howard was leaving for parts beyond so he left his at home. Randall's car had electrical problems so it was also left at home. Ahhh, the fun of owning older cars!

| Re: Wyoming/Colorado DFers Meet I'm happy to hear you folks had a great time at Bruce's yesterday meeting each other for the first time. Putting faces to the names and making new friendships is certainly one of the greatest parts of this forum.
However, I do have one problem John. I can't believe you and Randall were able to keep Howard's attention with any of those topics. Archeology Howard?

#9 | | Guest | Re: Wyoming/Colorado DFers Meet If there still is something planned for November can I be invited? I could probably make Colorado in a day's drive. I'll drive my "vintage" 99 F-150. It's a 4 door so we can "cruise" and "troll for moderately attractive women".
