Very nice show in Winchester today, it is held at the city park, wet conditions meant not on grass so all the cars were on parking lots or along the road. Thunderstorms predicted, so probably 30% of people stayed away, shame because weather was nice. Periods of sun and then some clouds, I didn't pay attention and got sunburn big time.
Had the Pierce there with top down, windshield folded, and the raincoat on the archer.
Enjoyed visiting with friends. Reggie Nash there with a fantastic original early (1910?) Rambler, Greg Cone with his 1912 Stoddard Dayton, Rob Burchill with a couple of early Chrysler tourings (real early), we joked if Chryslers are an orphan car. Maybe.
All in all a nice show.

Great show! Enjoyed the variety of cars, the Moxie car, band organ, 1914 Norwalk Underslung, 1911 Stoddard Dayton, Bill Smith's 46 Ford police car... what a great variety and a really fun day. Tom Cox and I had the pleasure of passing out FIVE AACA 50-year membership pins at the banquet. Shenandoah Region brings a lot of tradition to AACA including this meet - the 51s of them! AACA is alive and well in the Shenandoah Valley and Susan and I were thrilled to be there.

Here are some more pics, including one of my Pierce with the rainsuit on the archer, always on it on rainy or cloudy days! Was supposed to thunderstorm, did the rainsuit work its magic? Maybe! Marty, someone asked me who made it, which led to the story of acquisition from Drew......David Coco Winchester Va.
The Moxie car gives a whole new meaning to "Horse and Buggy".
The photos are all great. Love the raincoat on the archer.

The 37 Buick is owned by Art Bragg, lives in a little town about 10 miles from Winchester, he's a friend. If you ever get up here I could get you in to see it. Fresh restoration, beautiful. Here's engine in the Buick, in case you can't read!! Pictures were with cell phone camera so not the sharpest. David Coco Winchester Va.
The red Oakland 1910 (Second picture from top) (I think) is owned by Bob Roughten from the Tidewater Region. Bob's a big Pontiac/Oakland fan and owned or still owns Roughten Pontiac in VA Beach. He also owns several other great Pontiacs.
