Seeking information on 1914 KisselKar Touring -- Ann Klein car
I'm actively seeking prior ownership information and other historical facts on Annie (our 1914 KisselKar 4-40 Touring). I have a website wherein I'm documenting what I learn.
http://www.starship.org/1914-Kissel/
Here's what I know so far (in reverse chronological order). I would greatly appreciate anything that others can add or any corrections to this short narrative.

The car is delivered on Nov. 14, 2008 to the Wisconsin Automotive Museum (Hartford, WI).
Lynn & Jeanne Kissel (Livermore, CA) acquire the car on Oct. 16, 2008, from Hyman Ltd.
Mark Hyman (Hyman Ltd Classic Cars, St. Louis, MO) acquires the car on Aug. 18, 2007 at the Gooding & Co auction, Pebble Beach, from the estate of Ann Klein. Auction sale price is $55,000 (including buyers premium).
E. Ann Fisher-Klein (Elizabethtown, PA) passes away on March 31, 2007.
(Ann Klein founds Universal Vintage Tire in 1968 and sells it in 1993. She has a number of collector cars including several Bentley's. Her 1931 boattail "blower" Bentley sells for $4.51M at the same 2007 Pebble Beach auction at which our 1914 Kissel is sold to Mark Hyman.)
Ann Klein's grandfather acquires the car in the fall of 1949 from John Julian for $500. The car is painted in the fall of 1949 and an initial "F" is painted on each side of the car body.
John Edward Julien (b. June 8, 1928, d. July 2, 1999 in Milwaukee, WI) receives a BS in mechanical engineering from Marquette University, College of Engineering in 1949. When John buys the 1914 Kissel, it is being used to run a farm saw.
A 1914 KisselKar Model 40 "Four" 5-passenger Touring car had a list price of $1850 f.o.b. Hartford, WI.

Some questions:
* What is Ann Klein's grandfather's name (?? Fisher?)?
* Did the car pass down through other family members before going to Ann?
* When did Ann become the owner?
* Are there any know events (shows, tours) in which the car participates?
* When, where and from whom does John Julien buy the car?
* Who are the earlier owners?
* Where was the car originally sold? Harford? Milwaukee?

Re: Seeking information on 1914 KisselKar Touring -- Ann Klein car
Hello, and welcome to the AACA Forum. I was at a friends shop today and he mentioned he had partally restored a Kissel for a Mr. Kissel in Greenwich, Ct. There was a TV show about Mr. Kissels passing and the events leading up to it.

Interesting cars, Kissels. We received an AACA Senior Award at Hershey for our 1927 Brougham. The Kissel Museum in Hartford, Wisc, home of Kissel, is well worth a visit if anyone is ever in the area.

Lynne, Welcome to the forums.
I sent you a PM (there should be a flashing envelope at the top in the tool bar - click on that and it will take you to the message I sent) with the name and address of a member of our Region that was a close personal friend of Anne's. Hopefully he can help you fill in the gaps.
