Looking at the other cars in the picture leads me to believe that the Nash wasn't that old when the picture was taken. Doesn't seem to have lasted very long.![]()
I wonder if the washing machine is a Kelvinator? Haven't researched the history but there was a connection I think. They are certainly 'connected' here.
I've heard of an "ironing board 8", but this is something else
1951? Nash Airflyte? The truck on the right looks to be a '53-'55 Ford or Mercury.
What happens when they cover Nash assembly line vacations with people from the Kelvinator line...

1. Something went horribly wrong somewhere between the wash and spin cycle
2. Cotton or Permanent Press settings are now on the dash next to the radio
3. Recycling hot water from the radiator (early eco design)
with the proper gearing, a wash machine motor can move a locomotive...Nash is another story...
