NorthGlenn Colorado meet ..t

WoW! What a group of extraordinary autos! I finally met some of the DFers, all good folks! I wish I had more time to spend with them all.

For me the highlight was meeting Mr. Sweet. Whos was that? He designed and built a stranger car than I have! One of the 3 existing "Fascination" autos built. A guy was looking at my Amphi and I mentioned the Fascinaation only to find out it was the son of the builder!

Mr. Sweet came over and told me the story of the car and it's subsequent sales.

Front of the Fascination...

Rear view...

A spectacular '37 Packard Parade car...

Thanks for the pictures, John. You never know what you'll see at an AACA meet. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Wayne

John, it was absolutely great to meet you and the Amphicar. It's one of the reasons I enjoy serving on the HPOF team - the cars are fantastic, and the owners are great to visit with as they usually have some great stories about the vehicle and its history. Would have enjoyed getting a group photo with the Amphican and Fascination side-by-side!

Terry, Likewise for sure! I wish I had spent more time with some of the DFers there. My attention span when I'm surrounded by the class of autos I was is about a milli-second!

I would have done a photo with the Fascination in an instant! We still can as the owner of the Fascination lives in Denver. I'm there if you want to do it!

Yep, you got the right car. That picture was taken on Friday (the AGNM badge went on Friday night and it isn't on in the picture). I bought a truck while I was out there and I was gone most of Friday getting the title notorized, going to the bank to get the cash, etc.

That is a nice picture for a car that sits in our shop.
