The car built a little over 6 years ago out of a VW Microbus chassis (supposedly) for BirdsEye for this British TV commercial:

I'd wager it was more likely a rebodied Isetta...

Volkswagen Does It Again! Does look a bit like a minature microbus. Maybe I should keep my '67 micro to haul the little guy around inside. Might fit through the side doors.
I saw a new Fiat on the local roads. The owner had already dropped in a nitros. package. Smoked the doors off the dude in the rod hot V-6 Japanesse built car! I was really envious! Can hardly wait to see an Abarth style package for the new FIAT!

Cute ad. When I looked at what was left after all the sheet metal fell off, it looks like one of the larger ATVs or one of the crossover type golf carts.

    Re: New VW Pea...

The car shown without the sheetmetal is NOT the same as the one pictured in post #1. The rear wheels are set close together like an Isetta while the bare chassis has both axels the same width. The stunt pea was probably a golf cart while I think the show pea was indeed based on an Isetta. How pea-culiar is that?

If you were to put rubber bumpers all the way around the car, if you got in an accident, the car would be like a ball in a pinball machine. Just run some sensors on the rubber bumpers to cause bells to go off when hit by something.

Ok S.R., good idea! But I think I'll go for a hopped up FIAT 500. Already looking.
