Mopar Tec. Manuals
Have been goin thru Dad's stuff. Have bunch Mopar Tec manuals, service bulletins etc. Know there are guys out there that want them but no idea of value. Some recall notices are w/ copy letters sent to customes, some are one page and some 15.
Some Referance books on AC, Cooling sys, 4 barrel carbs etc. Even a 71 Dodge Colt manual. Most of the stuff is 67-71.
Where would I look besides epay (can't think there are any there) to get idea of value? Don't want to hold anybody up but don't want to give it away either. Thanks.

Re: Mopar Tec. Manuals
Stuff like that is really hard to pin down on price-it's gold (relatively speaking) to guys that own the cars in question.Recall notices, tech bulletins etc. are all part of a car's biography and therefore important to an owner of an original, completely stock car.
The value gets a little more defined with shop manuals-I haven't seen too many domestic car shop manuals (late 40s and up) priced at over 100.00 at most swap meets.
I don't know if this helps or confuses you.

You might want to consider making copies of what you can and donate them to the AACA Library and Research Center to serve as documentation for others. And it helps support the Library and Research Center and the AACA as a whole.

Re: Mopar Tec. Manuals
If you mean the tech manuals that dealers used they are pretty common. Every dealer had them so thousands were published and a lot survive.
Depending on the book, $10 to $50 apiece.

I know it's hard to pin down this stuff. Guess I'll go epay. Can't help but think some will have lots more value than others. Example:
Recall on 67' Coronet and Chargers equipped w/ 426 cu. in. Hemi engine. Have the Chrysler letter to dealer w/ illistrations and copy of letter sent to customer.
Service bulletin on Holley (six-pack) 2 bbl. carbs on 67" Coronet Super Bee w/ 440 engine. 19 pages w/ illistrations & photos for servicing and specifications.
These shold have more value than than Tec. Service bulletin for Aluminium Decals and appliques Adhesion Repair don't ya think. Maybe more value than service training manual or car parts catalog or Colt service manual don't ya think?

If you have a service bulletin for Holley six-pack carbs on a 67 Super Bee it is priceless since the six pack on a Super Bee did not come out until mid year of 1969.
List them for free on Moparts.com with pics and put a price on what you want for them. That will be where you can find real buyers.

Re: Mopar Tec. Manuals
Mike is correct. My mistake. The Holley Bulletin is dated 3-25-1969
