Milestone
Hi Pete,
My husband and I own a 1953 Packard Patrician and it is my understanding that
this is a milestone car.
Can you tell me why this is a milestone. We have a friend who owns a Cavalier and his car to me looks just the same.
Could it be the 9 maine bearings or the perfection in the transmission or could it be that some of these cars came through with Cloisonne wheel covers?
I know we have a good time with our car going to car meets in the summer.
Last September my husband was honored by our grand daughter when she asked him to drive her to the church for her wedding in the Packard.
Talk about a swelled head he went out and got a regular chauffeur's uniform
for the occasion.
Well guess that's about all for now and thanks for your time.

Re: Milestone
Not sure which car you are talking about not being a Packard Expert, but having asked one, I think you are talking about the Caribbean and we cant find a good reason it isnt a Certified Milestone except for the fact no one has ever nominated it! HA!
One thing we plan on doing once we get back up and running again is to revisit the list of approved cars.

Re: Milestone
Shawn, I doubt a Cavalier would be a Milestone car. Cavaliers are nice BUT they don't have the allure of a Patrician or Caribbean or ...

In Theory there is no difference between practice and theory.
In Practice, there is.
