    Lycoming engine 1919 Piedmont

    Hi- a friend of mine just bought a 1919 Piedmont, touring car made in Lynchburg Virginia. It has a Lycoming 4 cylinder 28 hp engine, and he is looking for technical information on the engine; timing, settings etc. Anyone have something about this engine?     We restored a 1917 BELL which used a Lycoming engine. Look on the brass plate on the side of the engine. Is it a Model DXU ? I'll see what I can dig up. Pretty basic engine. Any pics?
