    Grandma's color slide found...

    Found this old slide in my grandma's stuff and scanned it. Turns out to be the old L.A.City Hall (see second photo) at sunset. My grandma worked in the records department in that building and my great grandfather engineered it, so the photo makes sense to me. She probably took that slide while walking to her car. Love the big ole '56 Chrysler and the '57 or '58 Dodge in the foreground.

    Not only is it the old Los Angeles city hall, it is still the current city hall building. For you oldtimers, it is also The Daily Planet building in the Superman TV series
