Brass tour to Mt. Wilson / Wilson Castle?

Was at a picnic today, and our hostess brought out her photos of a trip to Vermont that she has taken in early August.

One of the stops was at Mt. Wilson (VT? NH?), and there are several photos of about a dozen brass-era cars visiting the same site - mostly model "T" Fords, but there was also a big brass Overland, a c.1912 Cadillac, and one or two other non-Fords (I think one of them might've been a Franklin or a Jeffery - couldn't quite read the script on the radiator.

Can someone tell me what group this was, and if there was some sort of tour ? The cars appeared to have tour banners on them, but I couldn't read the printing on them ...

???

Thanks !

Re: Brass tour to Mt. Wilson ?

It sounds like the North Jersey / Southern Ontario Region HCCA tour that was out of Middlebury, VT. We went to Wilson Castle one of the days. We had approximately 35 pre-1916 cars on tour for the week.
Hope this helps,
Chris

"Doh !"

Wilson CASTLE...that's the place...(I guess I had too much "white merlot" with dinner!).

I guess this was the bunch !

It looked like a swell gathering and a beautiful day !

Love to see folks "getting their brass out" !

Do you guys have your own site or are there pictures of the tour available on-line ?

Re: Brass tour to Mt. Wilson ?

If you like to see brass cars, you shold have been in the Black Hills of SD last week. There waas a really great HHCA tour. There were about 50 brass cars and we drove all over the area. Had a great time.
