51 Special Spark PLugs

I want to replace the plugs in my 51 but I would prefer to use a hotter spark plug. Has anyone ever installed some of the newer platinum plugs and if so, have you had any issues?

Re: 51 Special Spark PLugs

Just go to your local NAPA or whatever and ask for an hotter plug. My car came with AC's and for years I used the suggested plugs then changed to Champion when AC's were not available. Then I discovered a conversion to Bosch or NKG. I found that either of these were at least twice as good as my originals.
By the way a "51" what?????
