1949 ford panel truck
My brother-in-law just purchased a 49 panel. It has already been modified with a late model Ford drivetrain which is fine with him but he wants to keep the body and interior stock. He's never been in the antique car world before and I'm not much help with this vehicale, Can anyone point us in the right direction as to finding body parts, photos of stock trucks, glass etc etc etc. We don't live close so I will relay any info to him. Again I know you guys will come through, you always have. Thanks. Ed in 90 degree Florida

Re: 1949 ford panel truck
Direct him to the Fprd forum on this site. Also, H.A.M.B. at The Jalopy Journal. He can get a Ford catalog from LMC Truck Parts: Chevy Chevrolet Blazer S10 GMC Jimmy S15 Ford Bronco Ranger Pickup Pick Up Accessories/Catalogs. LMC has parts for 48 and newer Ford pickups. A lot of the parts for the panel and pickup will be the same. There will be people on the H.A.M.B. that can direct him to other sources of parts.
