| 1932 Model B Ford 2 dr Coupe I've been looking for a 1932 Model B Coupe 4 cylinder for sale. Not sure if Model B was made in a 3 window or both a 3 wdo and 5 wdo. Prefer one w/ rumble seat, but not necessary. Prefer one that is original w/ the flat head 4 cyl. Ironically my 86 year old mother is asking me about one and would like to own one before she is no longer able to drive and before she passes. As her middle son, I am trying to do homage to her in this her (likely) last request. I have found many Model B's of various years, mostly modified and nearly none that are the coupe variety. If some one knows of such a vehicle being offered, please contact me. Thank-you. tp |

We just toured last week with Roland Bushnell, followed his big "large car" all week, a 1926 Packard. He was reported to be 88 years old, quite a character!
Antique car people never get old!

Welcome to the AACA Discussion Forum. Good Luck in your search.
I suspect that there is one out there somewhere.... Exactly where, I don't know. If your mother might consider a slightly different car... a 1931 Model A, very similar to the 1932 Model B that you are seeking... you could easily find one and the cost would be amazingly cheaper than the original unmolested 1932 Ford that you are seeking.

| Re: 1932 Model B Ford 2 dr Coupe Ford offered both the 3-window and the 5-window coupe in both the B (4-cylinder) and the V-8 series. I used to have a neighbor years ago that had 2 '32 Coupes. The best I remember they were both 3-window models. A neighbor wrecked the first one and he replaced it with a B; I don't know if the first one was a 4 or V-8. Runs in my mind that he followed the B up with a '47-48 Chevy coupe. |

| Re: 1932 Model B Ford 2 dr Coupe The 4 cylinder unmolested 1932 Ford is going to be unbelievably expensive if you can find it. A 1931 Coupe will be much cheaper.
A few minutes of searching and this is the closest thing that I can find. It is not the 4 cylinder that you want. It has the V8. I have no idea how much this will sell for, but the car you seek will probably be similarly priced if you can find it. | Re: 1932 Model B Ford 2 dr Coupe Mathew is right. A nice 1932 Ford Coupe, either 3 or 5 window is one of the most sought after cars in our hobby. You can save $60,000 with a 4 cylinder Model A Ford. A 1930 or 1931 Model A Ford could be fit with a 1932 Grille and 97% of people seeing it at an AACA could't tell the difference. (Judges included)
If she wants a 1932, enjoy the search and make sure you like them too.
If I was going to do it I'd spend the extra for a V8. (Model B was 4 cylinder)
The one Mathew found on Ebay is not unsual in price. Crazy but true.

It was previously listed for sale here on the AACA Website. It looks like a very nice Model A Coupe. At that time, the car was priced at $25,000.

| Re: 1932 Model B Ford 2 dr Coupe Matt,
What an eye-opener; I had no clue '32 Fords had such a premium.
I mean, the thing is at $82K, the reserve's not met, and two days to go!
Wow. I'll be watching that one, for sure!
