| Re: 1932 Model B Ford 2 dr Coupe Yes, the prices of 1932 Fords are crazy. I do not know anything about original production figures, but I guess so many of them got rodded back in the day that there are just not many original ones left. It is funny that there are lots of fiberglass ones out there but an original one is almost impossible to find.
The price difference between a Model A Ford and a Model B Ford is a great example of the law of supply and demand but I just don't understand it either. The actual differences between a 31 and a 32 Ford sure don't seem to be worth the price difference to me, but that is how the market works.

| Re: 1932 Model B Ford 2 dr Coupe Posted by Mr. Potter(moved by mistake) "I appreciate all the information regarding my search for a '32 Ford Model B, (4 cylinder). I was aware if found that it would be a small fortune and finding one (4 sale) in any condition let alone in good condition would be like searching for a needle in a haystack. I agree the Model A's posted on ebay would be a better bet and may well consider one if it suits my mother. It'll be her decidion......or not that matters. Thanks to one and all. tp"

| Re: 1932 Model B Ford 2 dr Coupe If you can find a original 4 cylinder chassis from someone making a hotrod and combine it with a reproduction body you might be able to get one but it wont be much cheaper that way. Brookville roadster here in the Dayton Ohio are makes a steel 32 3 window coupe body or do one with a fiberglass body,I have fiberglass fenders on my 37 chevy p/u and you cant tell them from steel by just looking at them. |

| Re: 1932 Model B Ford 2 dr Coupe If you really want a nice 32 three window coupe, you can now buy all of the parts to build one brand new including the steel body and new frame. Unless you do the work yourself it would probalbly cost close to $100,000 done right. |

| Re: 1932 Model B Ford 2 dr Coupe If you want originalality there are still lots of 21 stud Ford flatheads around as well as transmissions and rear ends. If you want to upgrade to the later 24 stud 59A, 8BA or 8CM there are new but pricy blocks and cranks available. |

| Re: 1932 Model B Ford 2 dr Coupe If you wanted to build one with a reproduction body and frame it would be no problem to come up with a 4 cylinder, they were used untill 40 or 41 in trucks and I see them on the HAMB where someone has drug a 32 to 34 truck out of storage and has a 4 cylinder and you know it wont be in there for long. |

John,
Welcome to the 3%. You might also add that the the 32 Ford had exposed frame rails (no splash aprons), a rear gas tank and flush closing doors in addition to a slightly more rounded body. All these things like the sun visor (except on the "Slant windshield model) are easy to see from a distance if you know what to look for.
I've seen Model A owners call Model A's a "Duece" when all they had was a 32 Grille.
That's what makes the hobby fun, we all have area's of special interst, will share on this forum.
Paul
