Can anyone tell me where to get general and technical information that would help diagnose a few problems a friend is having with his 1924 Jordan. In particular I need a wiring diagram.

The Western Reserve Historical museum has an extensive library on Cleveland built cars. A Dyks automotive manual of the era would have generic wiring diagrams. They were quite simple, and most cars' diagrams would be very simular.
1929 Chrysler 65 roadster restored, 1930 Nash Twin Ignition 8 Cabrolet, unrestored, 1942 Packard Super 8 convertible under restoration
1942 Packard Super 8 160 138" wb unrestored, 1942 Packard Super 8 Darrin project, 1946 Packard pick up project with Packard White engine
1947 Bentley 2 dr custom, 1950 DeSoto woody restoration, 1970 Triumph TR250 (MC)HPOF, 1976 Mercedes 450 SL, 1982 Lincoln Continental
Dave,
Thanks for the quick response. I've talked to the Western Reserve Historical Society and they're searching their data for me...Sounds promising.
If they cannot supply, click on my name and send an email. I have wiring diagrams for both models of 1924 Jordan. Note one is Delco equipped and the other used Bosch.

There is an excellent book by James H. Lackey, The Jordan Automobile, that has extensive technical details, including wiring diagrams, in the appendix. The book was published by McFarland Publishing in 2005 and the ISBN # is 978-0-7864-1667-7.
