Hi!

A friend of mine owns a Buick Special from 1938. The car is fully restored. Now the owner noticed that the gas tank is leaking. Is the any place to buy NOS or good used gas tanks for this Buick?

I would suggest finding a place that can seal the tank from inside, Renuz is one place here in the states:

There also kit from places like POR15 or Eastwood.

Chevs of the 40s sells new tanks for GM cars. I have been thinking of replacing my 38 Special tank too. I live only a few blocks from their store and can take some measurements to see if there is a match. One of our local BCA members remembered that there may be only a difference in the filler location...

I can't find reference to it now, but I am fairly sure that there is a 70s GM tank that is a direct replacement...
