I checked with Jenkins and the rest of them and ended up with a local guy that not only made everything from scratch but alsofixed some springs and re-padded the seats with foam for less than the cost of the "kits".

for the cloth interiors of a 37 or 38, I would agree, that if you can find a nice matching cloth, or something you like, that the patterns are not that tough and a local upholstery guy should be able to do a nice job working directly on to your car. ( even if the original is reduced to shreds.)
