If a custom paint job is what someone wants to do on a Wildcat, I'd like to see orange with black stripes...or a yellow / cream with black spots. [img]<>/crazy.gif[/img] [img]<>/cool.gif[/img] [img]<>/grin.gif[/img]

Maybe I should just get a model and try it on the smaller scale...I don't think Ellie would appreciate that change.

Derek, Queen Mary III will be high gloss black, want her to look like a piece of black ice. All the chrome is being done by Sandy's Bumper Mart in Syracuse.

The Queen Mary just got it's 11th coat of primer, was also wet sanded again. She be ready for some base coat by the end of the week.

This is what the side looks like when wiped down with some presol, to give us an idea of how straight the Queen Mary III will look with some paint.

Three coats of Regal black fur were applied, the cat is starting to look like a black panther.

John, before we get to clear coat it, there be lots of wet sanding and buffing. Wet sanded a corner of the rear quarter, and still not completely cure, so decided to give it another day of curing, air is very humid due to rain in the air.

The Queen Mary III is in the process of getting wet sanded, half way there, should be done by early or mid next week.

The Queen Mary III has been finished with the wet sanding and earlier this week, three coats of clear were applied. The Wildcat has been placed in a tent to cure for few days before the more wet sanding and polishing starts.
