Replacement Carpet
I've been shopping around trying to find replacement carpet for my 1950 Buick. Most of the threads I've found on here mention companies that have carpeting but when checking their websites they don't go back as far as 1950.
Can anyone suggest a good carpet company that sells replacements for a 1950 Buick Special? I've seen Kanter mentioned a few times. Anyone have any good or bad experiences with them?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Replacement Carpet
Scott, I took mine to a local upholstry shop. They did the carpets as well. About the same price as the advertised ones.

Re: Replacement Carpet
Kanter's has a price of $189.00 plus 15% for shipping so the total would be around $220.00 is that what it cost you? I've only got one shop in this area so I imagine the price would be higher

Re: Replacement Carpet
That is about right. But they are doing all the installing. A big job. Although, if mine had only needed carpet, I might have tried myself.
CARS, Inc, have them listed at $147.00.

Re: Replacement Carpet
Cars orders them from ACC. Do a google search. Mine has Daytona weave and you can't get that through Cars or Kanter. I don't know if your car originally came with fancier carpet than the loop carpet.
Nevermind the search:
