    Smile DiNoc material

I know this has been discussed before, but I I am still trying to find the right material for my roadmaster. Here is a link, I am not sure if this is what I need or not.
Carbon Fiber Wrap - Carbon Fiber Vinyl - DINOC Carbon Fiber Vinyl Wrap

    Has anyone tried this?

    Thanks,
    Tim

    Re: DiNoc material

#1. Do you want to keep the original 3M (Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing) DI-NOC pattern look that simulates a machine-turned piece of metal?

    #2. If so, what color?

#3. There are several repro's out there for 1953 Skylark Owners that vary in color from a white with silver grey checks to an off-white with silver grey checks. These are water-slide-off transfers, not adhesive-backed vinyl, whose color combinations turn creamy yellow and brittle after years and exposure to sun.

#4. There were other Buick factory DI-NOC color combinations (white & green, white & blue, white & tan, red & black) depending on your car's interior colors. I have a dashboard that came out of a Roadmaster 2-door hardtop that had a red leather with black fabric interior, that has a red & black DI-NOC decal. I haven't seen this color DI-NOC, or other colors from those noted in #3 above, advertised for sale as a repro item.

#5. There is usually an ad or two in the BUICK BUGLE for 1953 Buick DI-NOC decals.

Let us know what you're looking for or send me a PM for some names & numbers.

I believe the ad/video states that they can send to you samples. That might be a good way to check it out.

    Looks like QUALITY PRODUCTS.

    Re: DiNoc material

There is a Dynoc distributor in Baltimore, has samples on his web site. Can't for the life of me think of the name at the moment.

    Re: DiNoc material

Thanks for the information. I am planning at this point in time on a black exterior paint color and a red and black interior. I have tried but been unsuccessful on posting additional pics of my restoration. I am hoping on getting it painted by mid summer.

Thanks again on the info on the dinoc material.
