    62 Electra 225 Brake Lights

The brake lights on my 62 Electra are not working. The tail lights (all 4) light up, the turn signals (outboard lights) work, but when I hit the brakes there is nothing. I have ruled out the bulbs being bad, because the turn signals work, so I guess that leaves me with wires or brake switch, right? It looks like only the outboard lights function as brake lights. Can anyone confirm this? Any tips or ideas appreciated.

Try replacing the brake switch. It's located on the master cylinder.

Thanks Smartin, that did it. I picked up a brake switch today and put it on and the brake lights work fine. Thanks again.
