1962 Buick Electra 225 & 1957 Buick Century Engine swap HELP????

Hi everyone
Can one swap an engine out of a 1962 Electra 225 and put it in a 1957 Century???
Would everything bolt right up? What about the transmissions? Also what about the brake drums? all going from a 62 to a 57? Found a nice 57 century non-runner missing parts and a very very rusty but running 62 4dr electra 225 hdtp. Maybe one can be saved between the two.

FireballV8, I am aware of another individual who replaced the 364 in his '57 Century with a 401. I believe that this was fairly straightforward, although I'm thinking that he had to change to a different oil pan. With respect to the Dynaflows, I do not believe that these will interchange. The torque tube was eliminated with the '61 models, and I read recently that the length of the transmission was changed by several inches with the transition to an open driveline.

Thanks for the reply. I also think the tranny won't interchange, but I am not sure. Does anyone know for sure the engine will interchange?
