Update on my 22 and a 1928 Invincible Six 4-door sedan FS

Hello All! I am finally getting my Chandler sorted out. All bearing will be re-babbitted soon. Now I am getting ready to pull the crank case. Anyone do this? Does the transmission have to come out as well or can I crack it at the flywheel?
