Cleveland Brakes

How do you adjust and equalize the brakes on a 1927 Cleveland 6?? The left front brakes will not release and the brakes don't act together. HELP!!!

Re: Cleveland Brakes

Not having any books on the subject I would still clean and lubricate all the pivot points and remove any sloppy points, and make sure all return springs are of the same strength as the best one. Now you have a start and will gain familiarity with the system. If I find some reference I will post further.

Re: Cleveland Brakes

You might buy a Dykes manuel of that vintage. They are on Ebay all the time.
