Chandler-Cleveland Reunion Seattle, WA
I just want to say that as a lady of a Chandler owner I had an awesome time in Seattle. Everyone who put together the reunion did a wonderful job! I enjoyed meeting Chandler-Cleveland members from all parts of the world and being able to see the cars topped off the weekend. We got some great pictures that I'll send copies of to Chris for the newsletter. I even found five ladies who are also quilters, what more can you ask for than that! Thanks for all the hard work that went into the event. I can't wait until 2008.

Shelia,
Thanks to Alan Stray I was given a copy of your pictures and his to put in the newsletter. I was thinking that we could also put a collection of pictures from the meet on this site in the Picture Post. I think it would be great to show others what a Chandler looks like. Particulary the Stray's 1923 Chandler.
What do you think of adding a quilt display to the next meet? I think it would be a lot of fun.

Re: Chandler-Cleveland Reunion Seattle, WA
Hi All,
We had a great time at the meet. Many thanks to all who organized it. Thanks also to Roger who loaned me his rear hub puller. It worked perfectly with a little (lot) of heat.
For anyone interested, I stopped in Paradise, Ca on the way home and picked up all the remaining parts from the 24/25 that he was selling. He is building a "rat? Rod" from the frame and body pieces. I'll be selling most of the parts at what I paid plus handling. If anyone needs running gear parts for a 24/25 sedan let me know. Engine is Pikes Peak 6, (siezed with no head) transmission, rear end and front wheels with brake assemblie.

Terry,
What a sad end to a rare car. You know if it were not for this club I'll bet more of our cars would probably end up that way. Thanks for collecting the parts from that guy. If send me an ad I'll put it in the newsletter. Better yet this would make an interesting story! Can you put something together in the next few weeks?

Chris,
Great job, glad Alan could get you the copy already. I think it would be great for us to have a quilt display at the next meet. We'll see how the other ladies like the idea. Of course it would be fantastic to see some antique quilts with the antique cars.

Re: Chandler-Cleveland Reunion Seattle, WA
Very good idea. Might even come in handy if the weather in Buaffalo turns chilly.
Jill is planning to make quilts to cover our seats untill such time that we car find or reproduce the correct fabric for the car. We met someone at the meet that knew of a lady here in CA that could make the fabric from a sample. I wish I could remember who that was.

Re: Chandler-Cleveland Reunion Seattle, WA
My father has fond memories of a 1923 Cleveland his father had. It had eisenglass, and was an open tour car. We would love to find one of these, or at least a picture of one. Can you help?

Re: Chandler-Cleveland Reunion Seattle, WA
I'll send you a picture of a 1924 model, they are almost the same. This picture was sent to Cleveland dealers in 1923.
In our newsletter there are two Clevelands for sale a 24 and a 25, both sedans. There are about 22 Clevelands known to exist. Hope you find one.
