Any one going to Charlotte Auto Fair April 2, 3, 4.? I'll be there all day 3rd.

How was it? It would have been a long drive for us

Hi Chris, It was a very large turn out. Mostly 50s 60s 70s cars. Very few Antiques. Huge vendor assortment. Picked up some stuff for the 89 Blazer but nothing for Chandler. The auction was good for buyers but bad for sellers . A lot did not sale. There were some very good deals on cars & trucks for sale on the track. I was there from 9 AM to 6PM still did not see it all. We had a good time .

The Autofair itself is always huge and, as you noted, mostly (98%?) later stuff. However, the AACA meet that was held on the back side of the track, outside the gates was excellent with many high-quality antique cars on the show field. The weather was beautiful for the show Saturday and the field was not nearly as crowded as Hershey -- better for viewing and photographing.

I'm very sad to say I did not get outside back of track. My fault for not invistating better. Being a AACA member I should have!!! Roger

John , Thanks for the news letter. I enjoyed the pics of cars & information. I went to Roger Anderson's a few years back & enjoyed his colection very much. Thanks Again !!
