We produced the film on the 1908 New York to Paris auto race www.thegreatestautorace.com . We scoured long lost archives in Europe, attics in Buffalo NY, shoe boxes in Vegas, dusty cabinets in Nevada. We worked for 7 years on the research and spent two years filming. We built full scale running replicas of the Thomas Flyer, the German Protos, and a partial Zust. We are very proud of the film and are offering DVDs of this HD mastered film to history and auto enthusiasts.
