1927 Nash driveline help needed
Hello my old pal who is 86 yo does not have access to the Internet. He is restoring a 27 Nash here in Australia and is not sure if the gearbox and tailshaft alignment in the attached photo is correct or requires further alignment. He has tried raising the engine mount at the front to no avail and no change in the alignment.
Is this as good as it ought to be? The rear alignment is dead straight.
Thanks all

Re: 1927 Nash driveline help needed
Ansteadeh: That does look like it is misaligned. The Nash must be their small "6" as I would say the larger cars would have a spicer u-joint assembly? If you drive the car and get no noticible vibration then I would say that all is well......Does he have all the parts for those flex couplings......almost looks like some spacer arms are maybe missing? One for the center between driveline and transmission.......

Re: 1927 Nash driveline help needed
OK thanks for the reply. I'll be seeing Earle in the next day or so and will pass this informaiton on. BTW it is the Std 6 and he has manufactured his own spacers between the flex joints based on an original one he found when dismantling
