    Livery Service or Rental

Hello everyone. This is my first time posting in this forum, but I am hoping to find some help. I am looking for information on possible livery service or rental in the Flint, MI area for my wedding on the weekend of 4/28. I grew up going to the museum in Auburn, IN as a kid. My stepfather's dad actually owned a Duesenberg for a while. If my memory serves it was a '32 Roadster with a boatback and rumble seat. I really cannot envision a more classically beautiful American automobile. I would love to find a way to rent a Duesy, Cord, Packer or something similar for the afternoon. I have tried basic internet searches, but have come up empty. I completely understand the reluctance for someone to lend out what is likely one of their most prized possessions. If the owner is willing and would prefer to do the driving, I have no problem with that at all. If anyone has any suggestions or knows of any resources that may be helpful, I would gratefully appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Unhappy Re: Livery Service or Rental

Many people ask for the same item, a real nice car for a wedding. The universal answer seems to go contact a local limo service and see what they may have available. Most owners cannot help you with your request due to insurance issues more than any other reason. Your other hope is for a friend to do you a favor and give you and your bride a ride. You in turn cannot pay him as this is considered a for hire service which once again requires a special use insurance not carried by most car owners.
    Sorry and good luck.
