Hi, Its not a Fulton accessory but the name will come to me. From what I can determine, they were starting up production of this compass and built each by hand. When the war came they made a similar looking front viewing one but with a painted metal streamlined case. These may be more delicate and prone to leaking because they are peices of cast metal screwed togather. I have only seen two others for sale. The reason I know is because I own a Cord 812
that is almost 99% original. I had to make up an accessory hot water heater from a similar looking vintage heater case with hand made knobs that look original. I found the accessory foglamps and bracketing for the front bumper.
The Cord accessorys were aluminum so they are easy to machine copy. I have been looking for this Compass for my Cord. It goes between the split windows and the mounting bracket has several drilled holes that match the ones drilled in the wood trim screwed to the body. If you need to sell it or trade I have a car that could use it. I could use detailed measurements so if I try to make one it will look somewhat original. The glass would be a chemestry beaker cut into a 2 inch segment and the top could be milled out of aluminium billet and screwed with small rods and screws, the most problem would be this floating display of the NESW that would have to be scanned and printed on vinyl.
