spare tire lock

Does anyone know who manufactured the keys for this lock, the flip up cover says chevrolet so I know it to be a genuine part, I found this amidst all the rubbel of a 30 Chevrolet I just recently purchased,
I would like to use it for my 29, would they have used the same lock??
Does anyone know of a vendor that might have the correct key for this lock, if it turns out this is the wrong key than I would like to find a replacement genuine key, preferably not an aftermarket key
Worse case scenario does anyone know how to dissasemble this lock so I can play with tumblers to get this key to work if need be, i see on one side at same level as lock cylinder a pin but it does not go thru, I assume that pin has to be removed to remove cylinder but how do I do it??? Thanks again

Re: spare tire lock

Contact Jesser's Classic Keys at: Jesser's Classsic Keys -About Keys

They have the largest selection of keys I have seen for vintage cars.

If it has the code stamped somewhere on the lock or existing key they may be able to cut the key blank using the code.
