| Picking up a 72' Kingswood Estate wagon tomorrow.... Well, after 7 years of bugging her, a local older lady is selling me her 1972 Caprice wagon that she has owned since 1979. It has been setting in the garage for years - it needs brake work, probably tranny work (was low on fluid), and a little rust work in the rear. I have some resto work cut out for me, but the interior and woodgrain are excellent - which is unusual. It also has the 402 engine option, which I understand is hard to find these days in the wagons. I am paying dearly for it... $4000 - which is probably way to much, but I have yet to find another locally - or even within 1500 miles - much less with the 402 engine AND the 3rd seat options. It also has A/C, tilt, AM radio, luggage rack, deluxe wheelcovers and power tailgate.
I will post photos when I get her home and cleaned up! |
