Any one know where the vin can be found on a 1935 chevy coupe? Not the plate on the firewall that shows the body style. Thanks Wayne Sturman

Try looking on the frame behind the wheel on the passenger side. Some of the other GM companies (like Buick) put it there. It's held on with two screws. And may be under years of dirt. Good luck on that one

Look under the front floor mat near the front of the passenger seat.

The number, as the other posts said, is on a plate nailed to the floor on the right side, but here in California, they used the engine number for my 35's VIN number. Located on the right side of the engine block, lower front.
