FS: 1929 Oakland All American Six Coupe

Hello, I'm new here and looking to sell my '29 Oakland. It will be difficult to see it go but here goes...

This car was purchased new by a cousin in Morris Illinois in 1929. He left it to my Dad (in Battle Creek, Michigan) in the mid seventies when I was about 14 years old. We were very excited and started to restore it as soon as we got it home. After rebuilding the motor and brakes with help from a knowledgeable friend, my parents took on a new project of building a house in 1978. Life moved on and this project has been waiting ever since. My father passed away in 2004 and even with the sentimental connection, I don't see this project happening for me. I live in Los Angeles now and have my hands full with family and other vintage cars.

About the car: It is about 97% complete (not 97% restored) with many reconditioned parts (lights, brakes, radiator etc.) Body is very solid with very little rust. It was repainted in the 50's but not in the original color (as shown). The fenders, headlights and bumpers are obviously off the car but are included with many other parts. It is currently stored in Battle Creek MI.

It's been a long time since I've gone through everything in the boxes and files, (I believe I even have the original Bill of Sale from 1929) so please give me a chance to get more photos and info. Feel free to email me with any questions if you are interested in the car. I will only sell the car as a whole and not part it out. Any input on the estimated value would be appreciated as well.

    Thanks,
    Eric
