WTB 1941 Cadillac convertible coupe

I'm looking for a particular 1941 Cadillac convertible coupe, body#3. Please note that this is body #3 on the data plate, NOT condition #3! I'm offering a $2500 reward for information leading to the purchase of this car or a $500 reward for proof it exists but not for sale. So... check those data plates because I'm very serious. Please contact me directly at bobscads@comcast.net. Thanks, Bob

Is this the one with the top of the cowl and doors painted black? A showroom photo of it was pictured in the 1941 Cadillac chapter of the CLC a year or so ago.

Did you get the build sheet from Cadillac? Does it say where it was sold new? If it was a show car, it may have been sold where ever the last show in the spring of 1941 was.

Yes, I do have the invoice. It was sent to a show in NY City, Jan. 1941. Where did it go from there? Who knows? If an east coast car, it could have died a rusty death in a obscure junk yard in 1955.

Hey, Bob

Don't give up hope. My `33 was delivered to the Providence RI show in Jan. 1933 and it was almost rust free.

Hi Wayne, I'm not giving up hope. That's why I'm offering that reward. Maybe someone will get off their a$$ and check some data plates. It's like finding money. LOL Bob
