Is this the one with the top of the cowl and doors painted black? A showroom photo of it was pictured in the 1941 Cadillac chapter of the CLC a year or so ago.

Did you get the build sheet from Cadillac? Does it say where it was sold new? If it was a show car, it may have been sold where ever the last show in the spring of 1941 was.

Yes, I do have the invoice. It was sent to a show in NY City, Jan. 1941. Where did it go from there? Who knows? If an east coast car, it could have died a rusty death in a obscure junk yard in 1955.

Don't give up hope. My `33 was delivered to the Providence RI show in Jan. 1933 and it was almost rust free.
