1976 eldorado cadillac

Hi, we have been trying to find info on our 1976 fleetwood eldorado convertible cadillac we have. It was one of 200 made,the man that originally bought it paid $40.000.00 for it,we have all the original papers on it,I hope someone can help us. It has the identifying plaque on dash, we would appreciate any info on this car.

Please post the plaque numbers and/or data plate numbers on your car so others might be able to help you. It would also be helpful to know the color combinations (interior/ exterior and top color) to validate that the car is original to thenumbers supplied. The data plate is usually on the passender side firewall.
From this info you should be able to get many responses on the car.

these are the numbers ST766EL67FWDO13966BDY,TP or possibly an R SO7211 11RPNT,04AAV7XRVSFP,1CBLWDUJGLT0000. The colors are white top, white seat with red piping,red dash & carpet,white body with red&blue pinstripe on hood.white hub cap centers.Dash Tag reads as follows: This 1976 Fleetwood Eldorado is one of the last 200 identical U.S. production convertibles.

They are called bicentennials. It was the last year of the convertible and about 1500 were made but the last 200 were all made identically (white, red interior, blue pinstriping) and they become the Bicentennials.
