1916 Cadillac parts

I have a 1916 Cadillac chassis that is complete with all components except the last part of the driveshaft, if anyone needs parts. Engine number is A37146, no winshield or body parts; lamp hangers are intact, transmission, engine and rear end seem to be complete.

Re: 1916 Cadillac parts

For Heavens sake, please, you have the essential basis of a restoration project of an early car that was most notable in its era, and in restored condition is something that you could drive many places in modern traffic today. The chassis frame is the most difficult part to find if you want to rebuild a rare car, because most other parts are saved more frequently for use for other purposes, and have survived in greater proportion. Yet you seem to have the essence of an original entity, and it should not be broken up. Almost anything you can make if you need to. For years I wanted one of these, because I had other early Caadillac interests. And my project came from two lost cars. I don't need another, and really could not afford anything just now. I probably have 40-50 years restoration ahead of me. I just cannot believe that there is not someone who would not or could not restore your Cadillac.

Re: 1916 Cadillac parts

I would be interested in some or all of it but it appears this was a one time message and the poster has forgotten it was posted. There has been no activity for about a month. Prices? Do you have some idea on prices of individual parts or were you trying to sell the whole chassis as a unit.

Re: 1916 Cadillac parts

Chassis is complete. I need the wheels to move chassis until the individual components are sold. I need to keep one wheel for my 1918 Phaeton. The rest is for sale. I can take photos and send to individual requests. The member address is correct!!!
