    Re: temperature gauge

    Hi, David,
Is the gauge similar to '29 and '30? I think I may have a gauge that does everthing except work. It's all there including the capillary tube. If you like I can email you photos of it.

    Re: temperature gauge

    Bill,
If you have a white gauge, I think I have a temp gauge with a good bulb and tube. You stick the bulb in a glass of water and freeze it. Then you can solder one tube to the tube connected to the good gauge face. When it thaws out, they work. I have done this to repair this type of temp gauge several times. It was written up in skinned knuckles magazine a few years back (maybe more than a few as I have been getting it since 1982!!)

Dave, If you and Bill get together on the gauge with the good white face, contact me about repair.
