Dodge A100 Parts Interchange Question
I am looking for any information that someone might have on the Dodge A100 as to what other vehicles the tie rods, king pins/bushings and the vent window gasket may have been used on. I am restoring my 1969 A100 and am in need of these parts. I've not seen an interchange book for the mid to late 60's and am hoping that someone out here might be able to help. I will also be posting this query in the AACA Technical Forum.
As far as the tie rods go, I've only seen a couple different MOOG part numbers referenced and am trying to identify what are the correct numbers and what other cars/trucks they may have been used on based on the original Chrysler/Dodge/Mopar part number.
Same with the king pins/bushings. I've seen both that the D100 fits the A100 and the the D100 does not fit the A100. What's the correct answer?
The same with the vent window gasket, I would like to find out what other cars/trucks may have used the same window/gasket setup. I've also no idea what the Chrysler/Dodge/Mopar part number is for the gasket.
Thank you all for any help that you can provide. Scott...

Re: Dodge A100 Parts Interchange Question
All I could find in my Moog book (Dated 9/'83) for 1970 and prior listings was the following:
Tie rod ends ES 288R; ES342L
Drag link DS702 w/manual steering
King bolt sets 8453 BorN std pin size
Don't know if any of this will be of help to Ya.
I can dig into my Chrysler parts books and come up with original MoPar part #'s if you want.
Good Luck!

Re: Dodge A100 Parts Interchange Question
Dave,
I appreciate the time you had taken to look this info up and to reply. I made note of the info and will put it to good use. I did write MOOG directly on this same question and never heard back from them, I'm guessing that it wasn't worth their time?
What I find in most parts stores in my area is that their parts references either don't go back that far or if they do they tend to pass over the A100.
It was a similar experience while researching the correct Monroe shocks, I again sent an info request directly to Monroe only to hear back that they currently only offer shocks for the front but not the back.
Regarding the pictures you posted, they are a couple nice examples of the A100 Pick-up. I do tend to prefer stock original versions, just personal preference, but do appreciate all examples. I have though come to really like the Pick-up version the more that I've worked on my window van and have since kept my eyes open for a '69 version that I could bring back to its original form too.
