Some huge photos you gave us! My 1st screen showed nothing but a forest and snow!
Anyways I have a book photo of a 1930 Dodge Cantrell Commercial Station Wagon that is pretty much a clone of yours. The only difference is the side wood design goes vertical instead of horizontal. You call the '32 a 'canopy' could it be a 'screen side'? There is a photo of a 1931 that looks like yours and has that bent out lip along the box top but the book calls it a screenside. However I'm not sure what the difference between a canopy and a screenside is.

Thanks for letting me know about the photos.
This was my first posting with pictures, I will try to re post according to suggested size.
Would it be possible for you to e mail me a photo of the Cantrell body ?
Was told the 32 is a Canopy, & do not see any signs of the screen side / woven metal attachments, that distinguish the two vehicles.
To my belief, the canopy simply had "rolled up canvas sides".
This vehicle still has the post / studs, secured to all areas, for the canvas to snap over.
Also believe the screensides were added to aid in stacking crates inside vehicle.
You can send to fossil892@aol.com
Thanks
Erik
I just learned something. That canopys and the screensides are virtually the same vehicle. After reading your post I studied several photos of both types and I see the only real difference is the screening or canvas side material. The construction of the body appears to be identical. Who knew? I've never seen either in the flesh and I'm not liable to as I don't think they were a Canadian item, our weather being what it is. (Woke up this morning to April Fools Day! We've had Summer weather for weeks now and today-----------------today we have an inch of that white s--t and more coming every minute! Oh well,we sleep soundly because, considering the world turmoil right now, who would want this God forsaken wilderness.)
I've included that photo of the '30 Cantrell.
