1978 pickup steering coloum

Hi Guys,
My truck was stolen some time back, and when I got it back, discovered[ suprise] the steering coloum pretty well mangled. As it is a one year only, I have , so far, not located one. So am thinking of useing something else. Anything!! But I then need a GOOD wireing diagram. Does anyone have one you are willing to share??

Why not advertise for a steering column first? They can't be that rare.

Rusty, I have. On here, on the AACA for sale , wanted. On Craigs. Over on some of the '72-79 Dodge forums, forget exactly which on. No responses. Would gladly buy one. '78 only 100 up through 400, I believe. Also the Ram
Charger and Plymouth version of same. OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS.

has listings for quite a few depending on a/t, m/t, 4X2 or 4X4, power or manual steering.
I know someone in Ontario, CA who rebuilds (not restores-he just makes them functional again) steering columns and has for many years, you should be able to get in touch with him thru CanAm Auto Salvage at 909-983-9695, his name is Jim.
