    Leaking Radiator 50 dodge

I'm redoing a 50 dodge coupe..The radiator seeps water in about 4 or 5 places..I asked the local radiator shop about fixing it, and he told me there is nothing that can be done for these old honeycomb radiators..What do you guys think..I live in a small town so it is hard to check with other repair shops about this..Is there something that could be poured in to stop these seeps..Thanks

Try Alum-a-Seal, available at any auto parts store. God luck! A good radiator shop should be able to fix the radiator, if that doesn't help. The old boys in the old days also would suggest pepper, shake it in, or flax seed meal.

Honeycomb rads are available but VERY expensive. It is cheaper to recore the rad with a more modern fin and tube design. This costs no more than recoring any rad.
